Betsy Bobbin

Betsy Bobbin is final addition to the trio of terran girl princesses who were Ozma's early companions. She came to Oz with a mule named Hank in 1912 and didn't return to the USA until 1947. She came then as part of Oz's diplomatic corps and soon established herself as one of the bright lights of the Washington, D.C. social scene. In 1948 she married the first of five husbands.Each was richer than the first. She has buried all of them (some less regretfully than others) and is currently notoriously single.

Despite appearances, Betsy never married for money. She came from Oz with enough jewels to buy many Third World countries. On behalf of her adopted home she quietly invested her Ozian wealth and over the last six decades has amassed one of the largest undocumented fortunes on Earth. She serves to defend Oz when diplomacy and magic are not enough.
